VIC:Shorten triggered ousting: Langdon
Victorian government lower house whip CRAIG LANGDON has named federal Labor powerbroker
BILL SHORTEN as one of the "faceless" men .. who triggered his pre-selection loss.
Mr LANGDON's cited his divorce and supporting his children as the reasons for his resignation
after 14 years as a MP .. but has also spoken of a campaign behind his back involving
Mr SHORTEN and the Australian Workers' Union.
He lost Labor pre-selection for the seat of Ivanhoe last month to Education Minister
BRONWYN PIKE's former chief-of-staff ANTHONY CARBINES .. who he says isn't up to the task
of holding on to the seat.
