Fed: Anderson to face more angry farmers
CANBERRA, Jan 10 AAP - Acting Prime Minister John Anderson faces the gauntlet of more
angry farmers today as he continues his tour of Western Australia in the south-west coastal
town of Albany.
Mr Anderson, who is also National Party leader, had a hostile reaction yesterday from
farmers in the WA wheatbelt town of Katanning, where he was attending a party function.
They demanded he explain why farmers in northern NSW qualified for over $200 million
in fast-tracked flood assistance last year while they had to wait for help to cope with
