NSW: Snow report for NSW snowfields, August 7
Today's snow report for the NSW snowfields:
Thredbo - Snow cover: A good cover of snow, with 15cm of fresh dry snow falling overnight.
Lifts: All lifts expected to operate. Best runs: Lenny's Leap and Albert's Amble are thepick of the day.
Selwyn - Snow cover: Nearly 5cm of fresh snow with cover softer on a firm base. Lifts:Up to 11 lifts open. Best runs: Every ski and board run is open, boarders should try outthe snowboard park.
Perisher - Snow cover: 10cm of fresh snow on the upper mountain and 2cm on the lowerslopes means cover is soft. Lifts: 52 expected to open, with some on wind hold. Best runs:The Hypertrail and Olympic on Mount Perisher; from the top of the Freelander Quad throughCentre Valley; Duplex Slopes at Smiggins; Fun Run at Guthega; the two terrain parks.
Charlotte Pass - Snow cover: 187cm. Lifts: All five lifts open. Best runs: T-Bar Face,New Zealand Face and Ego Flats.
