NSW: Man faces murder charge after double shooting
A 58-year-old man will appear in court tomorrow to face a murder charge after two brotherswere shot overnight in Sydney's west.
Police say one victim, aged 22, died at the scene after being shot by a gunman whoapproached the brothers as they were entering their home in Ruse about 11.30pm (AEDT).
His 20-year-old brother managed to crawl to a neighbour's house for help and was takento Liverpool Hospital, where he's in a stable condition.
The gunman fled the scene, sparking a four-hour police search involving helicoptersand the dog squad.
The State Protection Group and Campbelltown police have arrested and charged a 58-year-oldRuse man.
Police say he's been refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court tomorrowcharged with murder and intent to murder.
Police believe the shootings may have followed a domestic argument but a spokeswomansays the arrested man's not related to the victims.
