After the Olympic flag was hoisted in Sochi for the 2014 Winter Games, Russia President Dmitry Medvedev warned sports officials to make sure the nation wins more medals than at the Vancouver Games.
"You must work 24 hours a day, not just wear out the seats of your pants and rove abroad," Medvedev told sports federations chiefs in televised remarks at Sochi.
