Fed: WA health insurer hikes premiumsfees by 18 per cent
Western Australia's largest private health insurer HBF has increased its fees by almost20 per cent.
The move follows federal government approval for increases in health fund premiumsby an average 6.9 per cent.
The insurer says the 18 per cent rise is necessary to cover the cost of rising claims.
